Corporate finance
We advise on structuring corporate transactions, particularly black economic empowerment ("BEE") transactions. We specialise in implementing broad-based empowerment transactions (for the benefit of employees) and have an leading, innovative structure for use by medium-sized businesses.
We also deal with other transactions such as the sale of a shareholding to another investor or an acquisition. An acquisition could be the purchase of shares or the purchase of assets - often a leveraged buyout (LBO) or management buyout (MBO).
Our services include deal structuring, project management and valuation. We work closely with lawyers and accountants.
We focus on large private companies and unlisted public companies.
Our fees
We usually work for a fixed amount that is agreed beforehand, with a small non-refundable deposit payable upfront. Depending on the circumstances, we will consider a retainer-type fee structure or even an equity share in lieu of fees.
